In this course, you will address various aspects of nutritional counseling. This includes counseling sessions, documentation, data analysis and even client encounters. You will cover strategic planning, nutritional implementation and assessing the progress your client is making in nutrition therapy.

You will go over the scientific foundation of foods. You will have to demonstrate the scientific properties in foods through weekly food preparation. In this course, you will also cover current technologies in food science.

This course will include analyzing dietetic and nutritional needs of individuals with needs. Throughout this course, you will design protocols for clients with progressive, chronic or generative diseases and disorders. You will learn the underlying nutritional principles.

You will dive deep into the microbiology of food to help understand major issues in food safety. You will learn proper food safety and sanitation. This class will cover various microorganisms that cause foodborne illnesses. This will also cover food management in establishments.

In this course, you will learn about methods used for analyzing health, malnutrition and obesity. You will be trained on various equipment and software used for data gathering systems in assessing an individual’s nutritional status.

In this course, you will go over nutritional planning to help individuals maintain overall health and wellness. This will include assessment, identifying nutritional levels, and managing nutritional deficiencies due to diet choices and use of pharmaceutical drugs.

This course will cover the various nutrition issues during one’s life cycle. You will learn about nutritional aspects as they relate to neonates, infants and children. The course will take you through nutrition choices in adulthood and to the geriatric population.
